In my last session with Mary (name changed), we worked on anger. She was really upset. She told me that her senior at work had criticized her and his criticism had no basis. She was upset for days with this issue. It is natural to be hurt but to be hurt for days together? This indicated an underlying core emotional issue. I asked her what this reminder her of? She said her mother. Mary told me about her childhood where her mother never appreciated her. She always praised Mary's brother. Mary grew up with the feeling that she had to work very hard to be appreciated.
She was very hardworking and sincere at work. In spite of her hard work she was never appreciated. When her senior criticized her, she was hurt and the pain had deeper emotional issues from childhood
We worked on healing childhood memories. Combining EFT with Inner child work brought out a beautiful and deep healing. Past patterns tend to repeat unless it is healed.
You are giving your power away, when you allow people and circumstances to upset you and control you. The tapping in this EFT video will help you feel better when you angry and upset with someone. However if there are self esteem issues or deeper emotional pain associated, it is worth while to heal it.
Remember an abundance of enthusiasm, happiness and peace is your divine right. If you are not living in abundance, take action and heal. Allow abundance by letting go of the old.
